What can I expect from therapy?

  • Develop a better understanding of yourself and how you see the world.

  • Develop an understanding of your emotions.

  • Learn healthy coping strategies.

  • Challenge maladaptive thinking in order to develop more positive  thoughts.

  • Learn healthy communication strategies.

  • Improve interpersonal relationships.

  • Improve overall functioning.

What should I expect from my first appointment?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions to build rapport, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. This plan will be revisited throughout treatment and will be updated as needed.

How often will I need to meet with my therapist?

How long should I expect to be in therapy?

There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to how long to stay in therapy. Some people feel better after just a few sessions and are ready to move on. Others need more time, and may require long-term care based on the seriousness of their mental health condition.

Do you provide a superbill?

If we are an"Out of network provider” according to your insurance (meaning we are not contracted with your insurance) reimbursement is not guaranteed unless specifically outlined in your policy. We can provide you a super bill that you can submit to your insurance for possible partial reimbursement. If you are hoping to be reimbursed for therapy/counseling, we encourage you to call your insurance directly to inquire about your out of network coverage before beginning services with Revive. Please keep in mind that if you would prefer to find an in-network provider, we will assist you in that referral at any time.

The frequency of your therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals, but it's common to start with weekly sessions, potentially transitioning to bi-weekly or monthly as you progress
